Bobby was one of the first people I met in the East Wing at the White House when I joined the First Lady’s staff in November, 1978. He, more than anyone else, made me feel truly welcome. I so enjoyed our daily conversations and kept in touch after I left the White House after two and a half years. If you were lucky enough to know him, you know what I mean. Christine Hathaway
