I have known my dear friend Victor for many years. We attended Jackson State University. I use to witness to Victor and I remember inviting him to church one Friday and to my surprise he came. That night, Victor gave his life to the Lord and became a changed man. He was a man of God and a man that loved God. When we talked, his conversation was about the goodness of God. There were difficult times that he experienced in his life, that he may not have quite understood , but he always stood strong and held on to his faith in God in spite of trials and tribulations. I know that he was ready for this journey and he is in a good place with God; he was my dearest friend and I am going to miss him.
Barbara, my prayer is that the love of God will strengthened and bring you great comfort, and may the memories of Victor and his devoted love for you bring you much comfort in the days to come.
