Obituary of Michael A. Govan

Devoted husband of Marsha Govan, loving father of Monica (Marqus) and wonderful  Pop Pop to Marlie. He is also survived by his mother Queen Esther Queen, his mother in law Joyce Ferguson, 2 brothers Darius Queen and Samuel Govan, his sister Chanel (Charles) Govan,Brother in laws James Jr. (Benita), and David(Siobhan), his God daughter/niece Chanae Washington , Nieces Janay, Zakiyyah, Eniya, Sadiyyah, and Kareemah. Nephews Darius, Darryl, James III, Zameer. Great nieces and Nephew James IV, Juliet , De’Airah,Ke’Shawn, Zaire, and a host of other relatives and friends. He is Preceded in Death by his father in law James L Ferguson Sr. Visitation July 22,2022  9am until hour of service 11am at New Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church 4417 Douglas Street NE Washington DC 20019. Interment Cheltenham Maryland Veterans Cemetery.
