My favorite memory of Jabrail was when it was dismissal at school. Jabrail was outside laughing and joking with his friends and all of a sudden he began doing backflips on the blacktop. Of course, I’m terrified because he is doing back flips on the black top and I’m scared he is going to hurt himself. I said “Jabrail! You can’t be doing back flips out here ! You could hurt yourself. Don’t do it again”. His teacher Ms. Payton was outside and began to brag about how amazing his backflips are and Jabrail heard her and looked at me and I said “Alright, just one more”. He smiled and did another one.
Jabrail will be truly missed by so many of us. His intelligence,energy, jokes, and laughter was something that really brightened everyone’s day. My most heartfelt condolences is with Jabrail’s family, friends,school team, and every heart he has touched. Jabrail will never be forgotten.
