Aunt Sarah has always been more than just an Aunt to me, she is the epitome of what a perfect Godmother should be - and she was all that and more. When I was a very young child, she immediately stepped in to provide the motherly care, love & guidance I so desperately needed. She was my mentor, financial advisor, spiritual guide, inspiration for my successful career in the gov't, and favorite "Road Dog". When I was in town we went everywhere together. Before closing, I feel compelled to publicly thank her son Kevin, who is also my Godfather, for being such a wonderful son, caregiver, & protector to Aunt Sarah because I know these last few years came with challenges but thru it all, he stood strong and made sure Aunt Sarah was happy, safe, healthy and in her own home. As God willed it, Kevin was by her side loving her thru to her last breath and for that I am so abundantly THANKFUL because that is exactly how she wanted it. If I'm ever Blessed with a husband, I pray he is just like my Godfather Kevin. Thank You Kevin for being the perfect son!!!!!
