Obituary of Ricki Lorraine Leonard
On August 13, 1953, a star, Ricki Lorraine Leonard, was born in Omaha, NE. Mother, Grandmother, Solider, Policer Officer, Real Estate Agent, Worthy Matron and Friend are just a few of the roles she exemplified. Ricki will forever be a symbol of honesty, integrity and community service. While Ricki’s light dimmed on October 7th, 2020, her smile and spirit will live on forever. Ricki is survived by her daughter, Angela Wigglesworth (Quaashie), her grand-daughter, Glori - also known as her pride and joy, as well as her brothers (Bruce, Tyrone, and Jonathan), countless adopted daughters, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. COVID-19 may have taken her life, but it couldn’t take her unconquerable soul. #45Sucks #VOTE
Ricki’s Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, October 23, 2020. A public viewing and private service will be held at Word of Prayer Cultural Center. Due to the pandemic, the private service is by invitation only. However, the service will be streamed live via the Bianchi Funeral Service Facebook page.
