Obituary of Daniel Levon Hall
Daniel Levon Hall, loving son of Hartridge Levon Hall and Rachel Fields Hall, was born on March 23, 1988 at the Greater Southeast Hospital, Washington DC. Daniel Levon is the loving brother of Tameka Hall Harris. Daniel married Wanda Woodland on June 29, 2019 and they shared the celebration with many family and friends. From that union, Daniel is the loving father of Poet Levon Hall who is to make his debut around the end of June 2020.
As his dad affectionately remembered, Daniel accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at age 6, on Father’s Day. Daniel loved God and joined the Bethesda Baptist Church in NE Washington, where he grew up in the church and sang in the youth choir with great joy and exuberate spirit.
Daniel later went on to join Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, where he was vibrant and faithful, ministering his musical gifts and talents within the youth and young adult ministries. Daniel also met Larry Johnson, “Novacaine” at the church. There they developed a collaborative bond and partnership to write, produce and perform many gospel rap songs along with other musical works on a continuous basis.
Daniel lived life to the fullest and accomplished many life goals and experiences over the last 32 years. Daniel was passionate about sports and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He also mentored and coached youths within Prince George’s County system with little league basketball teams.
Daniel attended and graduated from Gwynn Park High School where he obtained a certificate in Auto Mechanics. He worked at Waldorf Toyota as he continued his technical education at Community College Baltimore County (CCBC). Along with his auto mechanic skills, Daniel found great joy, working with Roadside Assistance. Daniel continued to work in his auto mechanic technician career as a stellar performer at Chevrolet, located in Waldorf, Maryland.
Daniel received his certification from the Charles County Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department as an ambulance driver for the Emergency Medical Service (EMS). He was presented awards for his loyal service and dedication in August 2016.
Daniel will be sorely missed and loved by his wife, Wanda, mom, dad, sister and brother-in-love, Daniel Lloyd Harris, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and friends.
