Gloria was very special to me. She entered Virginia State University with me in 1964. She was one of the group of girls, Donna Jean, Jackie, Barbara and me. She was in ours rooms. She asked me to hold her pack cigarettes so she could stop smoking. That lasted a week and she came back and made me give them to her. She left our freshman but we stay in touch through. I will really miss her.
